Real Ales and drinks
A great Lakeland pint of Jennings
A good English pub and an even better Lakeland one like the Pheasant should always serve well kept Real Ales.
The Pheasant Inn here in Keswick is up there with the best. A member of CAMRA and CASK MARQUE you can be assured of an excellent pint. Its Real Ales come from the extensive Marstons Portfolio and feature Jennings Ales in particular.
Our regular ales are Jennings Bitter (abv 3.5%), Cumberland Ale (abv 4.0%), Sneck Lifter (abv 5.1%) and Cocker Hoop (abv 4.6%)
John says his Real Ale must always be served ‘Crystal Clear and with a Creamy Head’
Of course there is also a selection of Premium Lagers, wines and spirits.
The Pheasant Inn has a unique feel in a large part supplied not only by the ‘locals’ but also by the varied assortment of prints and antiques on display. We are particularly proud to show off our range of original works by John Wilkinson. ‘Wilks’ would unroll has latest works for the amusement of his friends here in the Pheasant on a Friday or Saturday night.
